Hello from a New Fiesta Owner

Featured Replies

Hi, I'm John a first time Fiesta owner as of today, but I've owned many Fords over the years. Mainly Escorts (Mk3/4/6), and before this afternoon a Focus ST170 for over 10 years.

I've always done my own work on my cars and my better half's (she has a fiesta too), so will hopefully be able to contribute to some guides if none exist for any work i do.

Anyway, the Fiesta (and the better half's in the background).

It's a 2011 1.6 Zetec S, it's done 59,000 miles and is a solid base.

Up until this morning i owned this ST170, but had to get rid due to a change in personal circumstances. We had been through a lot in the 10 years I owned her.....

It had just turned 166,000 miles when we parted ways and still pulled like a train

Anyway, first job to sort out is the awful front brakes on the Fiesta as I'm already missing those 300mm brakes. Hopefully some kind of upgrade i can find 🤞

Front brakes sorted (ST180) and ride height sorted, Eibach springs and new Ford Shocks. Loads of extra bits done too, mostly cosmetic.

Did Eibach springs and standard shocks on both a 2001 Puma, and a 2007 Fiesta - I thought a good improvement, especially on the Puma.
