Billynobike
This has happened twice recently - you lose power, coast to a stop with the glow plug light flashing. Turn off everything and the engine restarts straight away. Spoke to a Ford dealer and they reckon the camshaft positioning sensor needs replacing. 110k miles. Anyone confirm this? mintalkin
it does sound like a cam sensor problem common on the mondeo.
nipper
Hi all, I got same with my MK3 Mondeo. I just changed Camshaft Sensor and had full service with filter changes. Also, replaced X4 Glow plugs due to starting problems! Now starts ok. However, engine is still cutting out with flashing 'glowplug' lights. Anybody help further? Cheers nipper
