Drivers Door Bit Of A Struggle To Open

Hi, just bought my first ka, and having few problems , the drivers door locks fine, unlocking it is a bit of an issue, it takes a while and bit of a struggle to unlock, like sometimes the key won't turn in the direction for it to unlock, also the door on the drivers side won't open from the outside, any help would be much appreciated, thanks

    Sounds like a link has come off at the back of the lock and stopping you turning the key in the process, easy fix really, your going to have to take the door card off and have a look and spray everything with wd40 while your in there
