hi this is follow up to my post about noise on my car

took back to dealer as still got  1 months warranty left

they diagnosed worn rear differential

it was diagnosed last wednesday

they have said ordered part 

if they drag their heels over fixing it how long is reasonable time to start to chase them up

i work nights and finish 3am in morning so because dealer doesnt supply courtesy car 

ive hired car for the week

is any one on here legal minded as i want to know my options as to what i can do 

the car is on hp

as can only afford hire car for one week

dealer says once part arrives they can fit same day

The dealer will want your car out of their workshop as quickly as possible. It's taking up space and they don't get paid until the work is complete.

Many Ford parts are on extended lead time at the present moment and beyond the control of the dealer. The best you could hope for is that they lend you a courtesy car
