I recently had my 17 plate Diesel kuga serviced at a Ford main dealership.They recommended a full Fortron flush I said yes.  My. Problem was I took the car at 08:15 for a 08:30 appointment,they told me it would take 2 hours. After about  minutes I saw cit going past the show room and park down the side. At 10:15 he called me over to say the car is done I asked him why it had be parked for so long he said that’s where they take them to wash. My question is does anyone know how long a service and a Fortron flush should take 

 

Fortron is just a brand of chemicals.  I assume this was for their oil flush? 

It takes about 30 seconds to add the flush to the oil.  Then 10 minutes to run it through the system.  So very little time difference added to the service.

The length of the service depends on which one it is, how many parts are being replaced and how many are being checked.

 

If you ever get a Ford with a wetbelt, don't let them put any oil flush in those.
