My friend has got a 2005 sport ka

When she locks/unlocks the car using the remote key the alarm sounds and the central locking motor sometimes runs on (locking/unlocking the doors) continually for approx 20secs

She has replaced the batteries in the keys

Any ideas please ?

    there is a common fault on the ka where the connector between door and car body corrodes so check this first.
