Crank shaft position sensor A circuit

Featured Replies

Hi all, first post hoping someone can help.

I have a 2012 C-Max Grande 1.6 diesel

We are presented with code : P0335 Crankshaft position sensor A circuit

We have tried two genuine crankshaft sensors and replaced the crankshaft sprocket with connection ring on, she started straight away then starting choking and died. She then wouldn't start and just cranked over.

We then drained quite a bit of air out of the system and she fired up again but then started choking after a minute and died, we repeated and now no start at all.

Done lots of research on here and checked the whole loom and checked the ECU for any signs of water damage and everything looks as it should.

Any suggestions would be muchly appreciated

Quite impressive.

It's taken until the seventh post before for the subtle advert crept in 🤣

These "AI" posts really are getting clever.

Very interesting. What did you "drain" the air out of ?
