New kuga awd active hybrid bursting green . As any body else have experience of the ride harness of this model .I previously had Mark 2 kuga awd 180 diesel titanium which I found lot better ride wise or am I  imaging  it

Yes thanks for that ,wonder if different tyre pressures might make a difference ford states 35 front 30 rear for all currant models previous car was 33 all round  on wider lower profile tyres 

The difference between 33 and 35psi isn't that noticeable tbh.  If the rear end is bouncing around then you might find a lower rear pressure helps keep that a bit more planted.

I had a brand new Focus Active and the suspension on that was awful.  Hoped it would be a smoother ride but it was the complete opposite.  I found the non-Active Titanium be a smoother ride on the Focus.

The Mk3 Kuga also suffered the fate of being downgraded to torsion beam rear suspension, compared to the Mk2's multi link.

To be honest, my ancient Mk2 has one of the best handling/rides I have experienced from any car suspension in over 4 decades of car ownership... Maybe it's just well matched with it's very poor performance output 😂
