INCODE and OUTCODE

Featured Replies

Hi.

Im driving an old S-Max 2011 2.0 ECO BOOST.

Im about to add an extra key, hence I need a new INCODE. From 2011 Ford doesn't use the old PATS system anymore. As far as I have understood, the only place where I can get

such a unique code is by ETIS. But can that actually be true?

Anybody with some bright ideas are more than welcome.

Even if you wanted to get it from ETIS you couldn't. That site/system was closed down and decommissioned by Ford last year.

Have you used FORScan to get the OUTCODE ?

If yes then there are sites which will generate you the INCODE (free).

You first need the OUT code, then enter it in the website below and it will generate the IN code.

Hi.

Thx for your reply.

Im using F-COM as my OBD scanner for Ford. But for some strange reason, it will not allow me to get the OUTCODE. It keeps saying Acces not granted. I just email Secons, which developed the program, and asked them the same Q.

The Web you suggested, https://www.fordradio.codes/pats/ will that work on Ford S-max from 2011?

It should work, it just generates the Incode from the outcode it has no idea what Ford model it is.

You need to use FORScan and a vLinker FS cable.

FORScan (for use with Windows Laptop) : https://forscan.org/download.html

It's what many Ford owners use including some Ford technicians.

vLinker FS, cable for laptop: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Vgate-vLinker-Adapter-FORScan-MS-CAN/dp/B0952P4MLP

vLinker FD, for android phone: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Vgate-Bluetooth-vLinker-Scanner-Diagnostic/dp/B08H82WC8L

Hi

Sorry for my late reply. I off for work until monday night, so I cant scan before that. But I have emailed Focom - now F-Com which provide a similar prof. software product, but for some strange reason it will not give me the OUTCODE in the BCM.

It keeps saying, access is not granted.

This is my first issue to solve!

I will revert once I'm back home.

Jacob.
