Hi there, I have a Ford Focus 1.0 eco boost 2017 58,000 and just been told my engine has gone. Is there anyone here had this problem with theirs? I’ve been told it could be a wet belt problem? Please help!!

    Does it have full service history?  Ford may replace it for free based on that age & mileage.

    It's a little early in the day to have been drinking. 🤣

    It would be good to hear from anyone on the forum that has had the free engine that Ford have talked about.

    It's in black & white now though.  They'd have to at least give a good reason - based on that official paper - not to replace the engine if it meets all of the criteria shown there.

    The previous member was unlucky with one service being out of time, this one may have all the servicing in order.  It's definitely worth a check before going down the non-Ford route.
