Rear wiper blade

Featured Replies

Is the rear wiper blade in the same position on your MK4 Focus? it just the tip seems very close to the edge of the glass.

Well my car is scruffy but the wiper is exactly the same.

Same as mine, when I look there is a small dot in the glass at the end of the wiper blade that shows where the blade should line up with.

That's good to know about the dot on the glass, I haven't had an issue with the wiper, just for ages I thought that the wiper was close, feel better knowing that it appears to be quite normal, thanks.

Surprised we don't see more snapped arms on the Mk4 in winter with that setup.  The Mk2 had a wavy heated section underneath the wiper blade.

Sensible feature - hadn't realised they'd dropped it. What about the Mk 3?

You prompted me to go check mine - the Mk 8.5 Fiesta still has that.

I couldn't remember whether Mk3 did or not.  Just checked used tailgates on ebay and that confirms Mk3 did still have it.

Bit of nostalgia for you Tom...

I checked mine, it is lined up the the orange dot on the glass, I'm still tempted to move it, but if it's correct probably best to leave it.
