MK1 kuga sidelight problems, NOT BULBS

Featured Replies

after a little help if anybody if any of you guys knows of this problem. somebody i know has a MK1 kuga with both front side lights not working, ive had the light out and tested the cables within the light and bulbs, but it seems that the cable on the cars loom isnt even getting any voltage, i checked both fuses under the glove box which are f124 and 125, both 7.5a and not blow, now i know each fuses are for left and right side, not front and back, but the rear side lights are working on both sides, i have a look online and it seems there is both a sidelight and main light relay, but then i also seen online that its built into the BCM its self and you cant change it?

if there is no luck here im thinking  of just cutting the cable from the switch in the car that goes of to the BCM and just run a  cable directly to each side light from the switch, or even tap into the loom that supplys the rear light side lights seeing as they work

any ideas or things to try would be a big help, thanks
