TPMS weird issue.

Featured Replies

On the 5th Dec. I had 4 new TPMS sensors put in by Ford after the tyre sensors not detected message. The following day the "Check tyre pressures" message was displayed so I did (with an accurate Longacre tyre pressure gauge) and all the pressures were ok. I reset the monitor in the settings drove 60ish miles with no issue. Left the car overnight, started it up and again got the warning message..checked pressures...all ok.

Does anyone know why this is happening?

Cold weather reduces the pressures.  Are you resetting them when hot or cold?

No its not the cold...8 degrees (C) when I reset the monitor ans 9C the following morning with cold tyres. I just re-booted the BCM using Forscan to see if that does anything by tomorrow.

Tyre pressure warning light extinguished by buying a TPMS programming tool from Amazon (https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B07WDFJKMB?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title&th=1) and doing the job PROPERLY myself. Thanks for nothing Ford. Can I have my £78 back.
