Headlight bulbs

Featured Replies

I'm looking to replace my headlamp bulbs - the dipped are particularly pathetic.

If I look at the manual, it says dipped are H7, and main are H15

Autobulbs durect give the dipped as H7, and the main as H9 - so puzzle number one! I think the H15 are dual-filament, and used for DRL's, however I do seem to have LED DRL's so am scratching my head - if anyone can enlighten me, that would be great.

For the dipped - which are my main concern, since I use them most - I'm considering an upgrade - I've read good things about Osram Nightbreakers, but with reservations abouthow long they last, so that (or something similar) is one option.

However I'm considering LED replacement bulbs, though I would want a straight swap - any thoughts?

Thanks all - Richard
