oil/ fluid (may be fuel) leak

Featured Replies

Good morning. Just putting my feelers out. I have a 2018 Vignale with a 2.0 duratec  with a 6 speed powershift. I noticed a oil leak from it yesterday. I put it up on my ramps there was oil on a metal pipe to the rear of the engine and on the fibre splash cover. The metal pipe is connected to a rubber hose approximately 4 inches in diameter. there is a cut out in the fibre splash cover for said metal pipe. I wiped it all clean started the engine up but I couldn't see any leak as such. As the  splash cover is still on its restricting my view of the engine. it does looks like the leak is coming down the N/S of the engine though. The engine oil level is correct could this be a fuel issue? thank you for your help.

Regards Scooby.
