Is there a way to check Phev battery update?

Featured Replies

Hello, recently sold a 2016 diesel kuga and bought a 21 phev kuga.. within a week we had the battery issue.

It’s back with Ford to have a new battery and the update, they’re doing the battery but have said there’s no updates needed.
Is there a way to check?

It was discharging the 12 volt after setting a smart charge at night for lower rates which I read was what the update fixed?

Thanks

Put your Vin there. If you have all updates done it says no recalls and no CSP then maybe you have all updates done.

Also things that might help to keep the 12 V battery alive. Keep car in Wifi when it is parked if possible. Use combustion engine so it charges the 12 V more.
