Drivers seat electric riser

Featured Replies

Hi all can anyone advise what I need to fix my ford focus titanium x 2015 drivers seat.  It has powered seat adjusters but the option to raise and lower the seat has stopped working.  The move seat forwards and backwards and recline or move the seat back into upright all works fine. Its only the seat raise and lower that is no longer working.  I don't want to take it to a dealer and pay a fortune if its something simple but my local garage suggested a full replacement seat which Im hoping is overkill.  I'd be greatful if anyone can advise the likely cause of this problem.

Could be as simple as a faulty switch or as bad as a failed electric motor.

This is a job for an Auto-electrician, not a garage mechanic.
