Bcm removal

Featured Replies

Hi guys good to be here, looking for help with my sons fiesta 1.6 tdci 2011,had the AA out(car has immobiliser fault and a few other electrical faults),he thinks it's the bcm.I know where it is located my question is do I need to remove the bolts from the bracket on the bulkhead or is there some way of just unclipped the bcm from the bracket as I have seen ones on Ebay that come without the actual bracket?,any help much appreciated, thanks Gordon.

The BCM slides up/down on the bracket, though I can't remember whether there's enough space to slide it off while still bolted to the bulkhead.

Reviving an older topic. I am about to replace the BCM on my car I have someone lined up to do the programming.

2011 Fiesta 1.6 Diesel Econotec UK

I am really struggling to find any video or diagram of how to go about this, any help would be hugely appreciated even if just two things -

What is the procedure for unplugging the large plugs which seem to have some kind of clip

is the BCM attached with a screw/screws and if so what is there location and type

Thanks anyone if you can help
