Fiesta 09 plate rear drivers side footwell carpet drenched

Featured Replies

Hi, I joined up to see if anyone can point me in the right direction for an issue on my GF's Fiesta.

The TLDR is it's constantly getting tons of condensation in the car the inside windows drip with it. Found that the rear driver side footwell carpet is absolutely sodden to the point where if I press my palm down I can see the water pushing up.

I've tried to find where it's coming from but for the life of me I can't find it. The roof lining is bone dry. Both front footwells are bone dry and the rear passenger side footwell is bone dry as well. It's literally just the drivers side. I've checked the boot and that's dry as well.

If I pull the carpet up in the rear soaked footwell all the foam padding lining stuff is just like a soaking sponge.

I'm at a loss and wondering if anyone else has had this and where the likely leak is.

Not wanting to sound condescending, but are you sure the boot and boot carpet are completely dry?

3dr or 5dr?
