Blind spot door mirrors not working bought recently

Featured Replies

Hi I recently bought 2 door mirrors which are not new with blind spot indicator due to a driver wiped off my original door mirror.

New ones were to expensive for the age of the car and mileage the car has done.

The car is 140 bhp mondeo mk4 business model 63 plate.

The mirror works fine in terms heating, electrical adjustments and folds up.

I wanted to wire up and activate the blind spot indicator.

I appreciate if someone can help me out.

Thanks Din

something has to tell them to light up ?

on my car (not Ford), each corner has got short range radars to do ADAS stuff
can (do) they get data off the rear ultra sonic parking sensors ?

It would be good if BLIS piggybacked the parking sensors but unfortunately not.

There are two large radar boxes under the rear bumper, one linked below.  You'll also need brackets (which differ depending on body type) and also the wiring loom(s).
