Retrofit OEM rear camera?

Featured Replies

How difficult is it to retrofit an OEM rear camera, replacing the boot release button from the -AE part number to the -BE?

If its too much hassle i honestly wont bother. I mainly want to know, is the require wiring for the camera already there in the tailgate, ready to be plugged in, or would i need to get the new wiring loom as well and string that upto the front because weirdly THATS the expensive part. Its a Sync3, and know id need to code it with forscan.

1st photo is whats currently there

2nd photo is the OEM camera version
