How to find/remove seat stops on Fiesta Mk5 seat runners?

Featured Replies

Hello, I just bought a Mk5 Fiesta Zetec 2008 and need to gain an inch+ more legroom. Before I took out driver seat, I removed passenger seat... please watch my linked Google Drive video here which shows there are two more seat runner holes further back that the seat could engage into but something is stopping it:

There is also a seat runner tab which I thought was the seat stop and I started to hacksaw it to remove until I realised it doesn't even reach the seat base bulge in the furthest back position I can get it.... there is still a small gap as shown in this photo! It's the same problem on both runners.

This means something else is acting as the seat stop when trying to max out legroom... has anybody else figured out where the rear runner stops are and what I need to do? I couldn't see anything acting as a stop when looking lengthways down inside the runner itself :/
