Does any one know what modifications i need to do to my mk5 zs to make it spit flames or at least pop and bang, I have done no exhaust mods, i have a k&n 57i kit fitted and lowered by 15mm

pull a spark plug lead off (just don't pull it off the one that's already miss-firing), buy a baseball cap

If you really must, just have a search for anyone local doing "pop and bang" remaps.

Isn't the Mk5 ZS non-turbo? If so it won't work at all. If it's a turbo diesel then valves like that (dump valves) don't work on them either. 

I'd imagine the remap, Rodger linked to will be for petrol turbo cars too.

Probably most effective (if that's the word) on a turbo, but can be done on many n/a cars that have an ECU afaik. From another thread it looks like the OP is now looking at an engine swap, though.

Assume would have greater effect on a turbo....

I did state that they'd need some other supporting mods, Jim. 😉 Forced induction would be a good starting point.
