How to fix airbag module?

Featured Replies

Hi Guys, my 2009 Mk7 ford fiesta was in a crash recently and the airbag light wouldn't go off even after replacing the airbag. I hooked it up to forscan and got 'Code: B1193 - Crash Event Storage Full and Locked' (picture attached).

I've now learnt that I need to either replace my rcm / airbag module or remove the crash data from my current module.

For replacing it, I was looking at getting this module from eBay.

For removing the crash data, I was thinking of sending it to 'Crash Data' in Liverpool so they could do their reset service on my current module.

Which route would you recommend and why?

Any advice is appreciated, thanks in advance.

Send your module away to be reset. 👍
