    Well on my Ford App it says Focus 2018

    On the reg plate it is a 24 plate,  so hopefully that helps

    That was the year that the Focus Mk4 was launched.  As it happens you have a Focus Mk4.5 meaning the year 2018 actually has little to do with the model you currently have.

    Your Ford Year is 2024, as you have put in your profile.

    That's how Ford classify it in the Owner Manual download facility on their website - based on the last complete model change. Search for a manual for a 2024 Focus and it comes up with Focus 2018. (For my car it comes up with Fiesta 2017 even though it's a 2023 Mk 8.5 not a Mk 8.)

    Fortunately the next step offers you various build dates so you get the right manual in the end!😀

    Ok, thats great to classify the car at least. 

    Now moving on to the picture which I uploaded, does anyone have any views on what that mark can be 

    It isn't a hit or scratch from the outside, more of a push out from behind
