Exhaust Flexi pipe

Featured Replies

Hi all,

I have a Mk7 Fiesta 1.0 Ecoboost 2014 and I'm wanting to change the exhaust flexi pipe as its starting to perish due to corrosion. I would like to know if anyone has used these repair kits which are available online?. There's 2 that I have seen, one with the flange to the manifold and the other one which is a straight braided pipe. The nuts seem to look rusty and not very accessible. I'm toying with the idea of the straight pipe option. Would this affect the MOT? Any advice or pointers would be appreciated.

Change it once it starts to leak!

A straight pipe will crack, it's flexible for a reason

I'm on about the straight flexi that doesn't bolt onto the manifold. It's flexible.
