My mother has a C-Max from 2018, I am presuming it is a lower trim model given the manual height adjust on the drivers side. I can't find any way to adjust the height on the passenger seat, I feel like I am breaking my neck every time I get in and out, I have managed to swing in backwards which helps, but it all seems such a faff, is a height adjuster on a passenger seat really that special ? Even a manual lever one ? Or am I missing a hidden lever or way to lower it ?

Yes.

Most do not have height adjustment. It can be done if you're willing to spend money.

You'd probably need to source a driver's seat from the equivalent LHD version

The manually height adjustable passenger seat is only present on vehicles with an electrically adjusted driver seat.

Manually adjusted driver seat = no height adjustable passenger seat.
Electrically adjusted driver seat = manually height adjustable passenger seat.

This is confusing though, look at the seats on another C-Max I just saw online, it says "Titanium" on the back but doesn't have leather seats and only has lever adjust and not button adjust. But has lever on both sides. 

 

 

There should be plenty in the scrappies now, especially Ecobooms, have a look around and see what you can find

Mk3 Focus Titanium never got leather in the UK.  They got 'premium cloth', which admittedly was a bit nicer than the basic cloth and Zetec S cloth.  Titanium X got half leather with electric adjustment on the drivers side.

C-Max trim levels are generally close to Focus but not always identical.
