1.0 EcoBoost 140 Active B + O Play 5dr - battery drainage

Featured Replies

Hi, I bought a Fiesta 1.0 EcoBoost 140 Active B + O Play 5dr last autumn, everything works brilliantly but the battery drains within 4 weeks as I only do local journeys regularly.  We recharge the battery every couple of weeks now if we don't go on a longer journey, we've bought a NoCo booster for emergencies, I switch off B + O Play and Ford navigation system on start up - but still she drains.  Any clues on what to do next please?  Or is this the new world?

A 2019 model is due a new battery.

Fit something decent like a Yuasa

It has a new battery - sorry should have said.  Is this model known for heavy duty battery use due to B + O which continues to drain when not in use?

How can I test for this?

Take the fuse out

I must be lucky, still on my 2019 battery......you know what's gonna happen now 😃
