Program a 3rd key with fob

Featured Replies

Hi, I have 2 keys (one with fob and the other without)for a fiesta 1.2 2013. I have a new (3rd) key with fob, ive managed to get the buttons on the 3rd key to open and close the doors, but need to program the chip in the fob to match the car. Has anyone used one of these before or know of a cheap way to do it. tiadfdfddf.thumb.JPG.72ea3cd8ab0121768d245b7a3358fe84.JPG

I used Forscan with a modified Elm327 USB cable (around £10 on fleabay) to code virgin chips to a 57 Focus. It should be modified so you can access the HS bus for some of the additional modules. There's an annual PAYG license fee of £12 (the price when I did it) but, it gives you full access to all features and the modified Elm cable wasn't expensive either. Cheaper than PP2000/Lexia for Pug/Citroen and a lot simpler.
