Wheel Studs & Nuts

Featured Replies

I've problem with my wheel studs & nuts on my Mondeo MK3 ( 2002 ).Recently I've all my wheel nuts replaced as alloy cap was falling of them..so, I bought brand new ones; Then I had trouble with loosing the nut !?! Stud was keep turning along with the nut!! So, I had to drill the nut & stud to remove them..and then it happened to another wheel..and when that happened for the third time..that was the bottom line..I replaced them all. And now a year and a half later is starting to have a tread on the nut problem.

Is that or similar thing happened to you or is just me!! Are them wheel nuts & studs a the weakest thing in that model?

Thanks
