2012 Mk7 Cruise control question

Featured Replies

I know there have been a few posts on cruise control. I have a 2012 Zetec S 1.6tdci 8v and just want to know if I scan my car and the option is there, is it definite that I can install it?

I'm just making sure it's not a case of "It's in the software, but the hardware (behind the steering wheel) isn't there."

The hardware will not be there.

You will need a replacement steering wheel with the correct buttons, and a new clock spring with the connections for CC

Yeah, I know I'll need the buttons and stuff, but more than the connectors down the back of thesteering wheel, I've seen that cars that can support it will have 9 wires on the connector but I'm trying to save the hastle of ripping apart my steering column just now

It's the only way you'll know.
