Ford Mondeo Trip Computer Or Reset Button Failure!!

Hi,

I have problem with computer reset and info button on my Ford Mondeo TDDI 2001.When i start the engine computer display working fine and the numbers are correct.But the problem is when i press reset or info button there is no change on display, i can not switch to see temp. or consumtion...If i want to change to see temp,milage,consumption... i need to switch each time ignition off/on. Also i can not reset milage, switch mileage to kilometers...Any Help,Thanks

Not to hijack your topic, I just signed up to ask this same question, so I may aswell sit in on this thread too.

I've only had my car 3 days, so I'm not entirely sure how these controls are meant to work anyway...

But none of the buttons seem to do a thing when I press them, so I'm guessing there's a fault somewhere.

Good question as on our Mondeo the display now only shows Trip re-set as a default. No longer shows outside Temp etc on trip re-set message. I don't knw how to get it back to "normal". I can get it to display mpg, miles to empty tank etc but can't go back past the Trip reset message.

It seems that when the key is inserted it defaults to this mode. When the car is started the temp cna be selected as the defautl to shwo when the car is running. My gripe now is why on earth did they choose red writing on a red background as it makes it difficult to read at times.
