PeanuckleJive
Not to hijack your topic, I just signed up to ask this same question, so I may aswell sit in on this thread too. I've only had my car 3 days, so I'm not entirely sure how these controls are meant to work anyway... But none of the buttons seem to do a thing when I press them, so I'm guessing there's a fault somewhere.
Surfer
Good question as on our Mondeo the display now only shows Trip re-set as a default. No longer shows outside Temp etc on trip re-set message. I don't knw how to get it back to "normal". I can get it to display mpg, miles to empty tank etc but can't go back past the Trip reset message.

Surfer
Did you find where is the fault? Mine is still same.. It seems that when the key is inserted it defaults to this mode. When the car is started the temp cna be selected as the defautl to shwo when the car is running. My gripe now is why on earth did they choose red writing on a red background as it makes it difficult to read at times.
