Thanks in advance , I have a ford focus 2012 plate with a common issue apparently. The problem is as follows car will start but no acceleration smokes a bit then after a min or so the revs pick up. lost all faith in car.

I have fitted following new head gasket , cleaned egr valve , replacement hi pressure fuel pump , cam belt , water pump , cleaned injectors , off car dpf clean , dpf temp sensor , diff pressure sensor , crank sensor replacement top fuel line , replaced fuel filter ,.No errors showing on launch odb , no errors showing on snap on edge . car is very clean no rust , might have to sell as a donor car as ive given up!!! unless anybody has any further ideas.

I wouldn't expect it to see the Ford specific DTC's  it's only a generic code reader.

If you want to get all of the Ford DTC's then you will need to use FORScan or take the car to a Ford dealer.

Have the glowplugs been replaced?

Also how were the injectors 'cleaned'?  Were they professionally tested at the same time to make sure they aren't internally knackered? (Weak injectors are the common issue with this engine, cleaning them won't help).

As for injectors I cleaned and  tested spray pattern .

Im a diesel generator engineer and have all equipment to hand when required and decided to give up and try and get rid shame really spent too much on it and need it shifting. might get some money back
