Sump gasket on 2002 1.3 Duratec engine

Hi, my sons car has an oil leak that looks to be the sump, ( its a 2002 1.3 8V duratec engine) I replaced the rocker gasket just in case it was that, but leak persists. For the sump removal, it looks like I will need to get the gearbox, clutch and flywheel off before I can replace the sump gasket. Is this correct or is there an easier way?
