Hello all I was just wondering if any one knew the answer to the following questions, I have a 06 1.8 tdci lx and would like to know approx how many miles of fuel are left in the tank when the fuel warning light comes on and when it gets really low will it flash or does it just stay lit.

ive got a 06 1.8 tdci focus (probs the same engine) and my low fuel light comes on with 50 miles remaining, it will then display the remaining miles as a countdown on the screen. never really got it low enough to see what happens after that because by then the needles barely showing any fuel at all :P

doesnt your dash screen show your MPG when you toggle through the displays? mine does, i thought all of them this age did.

No mine is the LX so doesn't have a trip computer. But seem to be getting 37 mpg round town roughly not sure if thats the norm.

my trip computer currently says im getting 35.1mpg with an average of 12mph (hahaha) but i do a lot of town trips in which im waiting at traffic lights and in traffic. i did think it was a little low at first but if i do a long motorway journey it creeps up so its probably normal
