Owned from new

Featured Replies

Hi, I bought my Focus brand new in 2015,  it’s a 1litre petrol Ecoboost manual, & I love driving it.  46mpg & £20 a year tax, 124,000 miles clocked so far.  It had to have a new starter motor a few days before the warranty expired, so that was lucky to get it free.  Then it developed the droopy left headlamp, which the dealer refused to accept was possible, until I did a video clip & showed him.  When the part came in & it was fitted, they told me 5 other cars had the same problem!  I had the wet belts changed last year after seeing the reports on tv & just in time, because it was starting to break up & block the oil pickup.  I’ve also had to re-attach the door seals, but overall I still enjoy owning it & driving it.
