Has anyone any ideas of how to separate the above to access the in-car temperature sensor.I thought it was an easy straightforward three retaining screw removal and hey presto job done,anything but.Have I overlooked something or does it just require the midas touch.

    If its like most Fords then you need to remove the upper cover first, before trying to release the lower cover.
