I have a 1.6 tdci fiesta van 

 

I broke down on the motorway the other day, got a P006A, van won't start now, I've changed the MAF and cleaned the MAP but still no joy, I have had this image on the display panel, does anyone have any ideas on what else I could try, the van is due a service and has done 168.472miles I am self-employed and need this for work.

Hi, you'll need Forscan to read those fault codes.  That warning message generally means there's a hidden Ford code that won't be picked up by generic OBD.

Even without MAF & MAP connected the engine should still start, so I don't think that code is the cause of the non-starting.

Given the age and mileage, I wouldn't be surprised if the cambelt had failed.  That might be worth checking if you've got the tools to remove the top belt cover.

I have taken the cambelt off, it's got missing teeth, the old water pump spins like the new one, the only other thing is the fuel pump it won't turn over at all, I have used a crack bar on it and it still won't turn, I have opted to get a engine as I have a feeling it will of bent valves as well, I will put the new cambelt and water pump on the next engine I get for it
