Timing belt done, coolant pump done..but it showing engine overhead temperature sensor activated..replaced the coolant temperature sensor...but symptoms are same..on the dash board temperature showing red and engine malfunction displayed...reading the same fault again. Fault codes are P1299-00,U1035-00,P0016-78,P0118-12. Can shaft position sensor replaced...l can only find one that is next to the pulley...don't know if any other. Two sensors of crank shaft also replaced.Coolant sensor replaced...don't know how to go ahead..coolant is heating up...all new coolant and it is coming clear. There was no problems untill replacing the coolant pump due to a leak..bought a Bosch timing belt kit and pump leaked in 8 months .Taken out everything and replaced with a new GRAPH pump looking better and solid than Bosch...coming with proper gasket and metal impeller...Bosch was paper gasket and plastic impeller. Please share any solution if anyone have any clue please.

Was the cooling system vacuum filled ?

Sounds like you have a massive airlock in the system.

Hi welcome

Thank you...this is first time l am in a forum

That didn't answer the question. Was the cooling system vacuum filled ?

If not then you will have to remove the filler cap and leave it off. let the engine idle up to temperature and see if the coolant level starts to drop.

So l have to remove the cap and leave it off..? After how long do l need to start?

Leave the filler cap off the expansion tank.

Let the engine idle up to temperature so that the thermostat opens.

Check coolant level and top up with Ford coolant as required. Repeat this process until coolant level remains constant.

Fantastic and thank you...that is an absolutely valuable diagnosis...thank you so much ...will try that again tomorrow and update the same if it has come out with a result...but thank you so much for your time...same with my camshaft sensor...replaced few times and it doesn't give any result. It shows the fault again after replacing it. Do you have any solution? It was showing before we timing the belt 8 months before .when we replaced the sensor same time as  belts and pump replaced...but again showing fault

You need to use FORScan so that you can get the Ford specific DTC's and monitor live data.
