Noticed today that there is an extremely hot pipe in drivers footwell - on the left, roughly behind the footwell air vent blower. There is a cooler pipe but behind that a seriously hot one, I can just about reach it with my left hand when sitting.

Everything seems good with the car at the moment. My question is - is this the coolant feed to the heater matrix and completely normal or something else that I should worry about? I'm not sure on the heater matrix location in this car apart from knowing it is well buried behind the dashboard somewhere.
