hi i have a ford C-Max 2011 1.6 tdci

i got a error needed a new fuel injector replaced injector sounded mint so coded it and now runs like crap 

smoky rattles around 1.5rpm bad on juice 

any advice would be brill thank you

    Definitely coded the right one?

    Also is it new or used?  The codes are for brand new injectors.  The wear in used injectors makes the coding less effective as the ECU still has to adapt to the wear.

    it was a new injector 

    just strange before coding car ran sweet as a nut and after sounds like a rusty bag of nails

    Ok, that's a shame.  Are you definitely sure you coded the right one?  Just wondering if you accidentally coded one that hadn't been replaced.  Also worth double checking the code isn't one digit wrong anywhere.

    is there a specific way to retrain the injector as like you do i hit YouTube and forums and went down the rabbit trap and came across this vid so started wondering

    Just checking that you realise the injectors match the firing order and not the cylinder order.
