Active City Stop not Available - Low battery?

Featured Replies

Hey, just bought a used 2019 Grand C-Max and only 2 days in I get "Active City Stop not Available" on the dash shortly after ignition on, I know the car was sitting in Dealership for a few months, I measured the battery at 12.20V with engine NOT running, could this be the cause? I will call dealer tomorrow obviously but just curious....

Yes !! 👍

Charge the battery for a minimum of 12 hours using a Smart charger.

Make sure to connect the negative lead of the charger to the car chassis earth point and not the battery.

Thanks for this! To be honest as the car is under warranty at the dealer I will get them to replace the battery - It looks to be the OG battery
