Hi, new Ford Ka Mk2 owner. 2011 1.2. Replacing the OEM stereo but it is asking for a code. All the code websites ask fir a serial number starting with V or M but the stereo doesnt show one. Tried hokding keys 1 and 6 but nothing happens as it wants a code to be entered. Any help gratefully received.

    The Ka MK2 is 99.9% a Fiat. The only Ford parts on a Ka MK2 are actually the Ford badges. The audio system is also 100% Fiat.

    This is why the Ford radio code calculators do not work for a Ka MK2.

    Tried Lookers and Evans Halshaw to see about getting a code. Neither could provide one. Cartronics wanted £150 + return postage to decode it. Returning the head unit to ebay seller and will purchase an aftermarket kit for fixing. So my next question will be, where to plug in the required ignition power cable from the harness. Is there a fuse in the glove box I can use?
