Had to get my dream vehicle again, got a Ranger again

Featured Replies

So I recently bought my second Ranger as I loved my last 2004 Ranger! It was a beast!

Anyway, I’m loving it even tho I sold my 2018 Mustang GT 5L V8 haha

midlife crisis over! Although that was my second as I had a motorbike about 15 years ago lol

so I went for the 2015 limited 2.2tdci auto.

All has been great since buying it Saturday, but today it’s making an air hissing noise when the turbo kicks in. Looked in turbo air intake and there was small amount of oil, pipe seemed ok so no cracks. But the smaller hose that comes off the turbo intake hose does seem to be loose where it connects to the top of the engine.

any ideas what the flair noise would be? Does the oil mean it’s maybe the turbo?
