All power to climate control unit has gone on my Transit

Featured Replies

I went to turn my fan on and I have no power to the unit. Nothing on it works. Tried to see if there's a fuse blown but can't find one for that part of the vehicle

Assuming that it's not just a simple case that the climate control 'off' button hasn't been pressed, you need to check fuse F17 on the Body Control Module.

Ha yeah, unfortunately not that simple. Just checked that fuse assuming it's the correct one and it's ok

Your fuse box is different to the one I'm looking at.

What engine does your Transit have ?

It's fuse F12 (F12 & F13 dual fuse) in the Body Control Module BCM

On a totally separate and unrelated issue.

Have you replaced the wet timing belt on your engine ? 🤔

  • Author

Yes it was replaced in September

I'm not entirely sure where that fusebox is. I thought it was behind the glove box but I have that out now and there's no fusebox there

In that case it's a different fusebox because this is the one under my steering wheel

Well I've finally found the fuse box just got to work out how to get to the fuses without taking half the dash out

I need either the van's registration or the VIN to be able identify the correct fusebox.

I managed to find the fuse box. I had to take part of the dash out to get to it but the fuse was ok. Swapped it with another one and still not working
