Rear view camera was replaced under warranty as the original had failed, but the replacement was different to the original as Ford no longer supply the original type.  Found a second hand camera the same as the original (Lens wash also Fixed and Directional lines) the fixed lines are in place when reverse gear selected, but the directional lines do not appear.  Does anyone know if the lines can  be reset using Forscan or not. Car is a 2020 Kuga Plugin Hybrid Titanium.

Now I'm confused 🤔 Why the second hand camera ? Didn't you just say it was replaced under warranty ?

The replacement camera was not the same type as the original camera. The replacement only shows the rear view, whereas the original had a lens wash jet and the fixed guidelines and the directional lines when reverse gear was selected.  Ford said they no longer supply the same camera as the original, so I looked for a second hand one which I thought I had found, but the directional lines do not appear at all.

OK, I follow you now.

There is more than one type of OEM camera used by Ford. I suspect you have been fobbed off by the dealer who has fitted a cheap after market camera. This may mean they have disconnected the Linbus wiring to the rear camera.

You really need to know the original part number so you can check that you have the correct replacement part. If you let me know your VIN, I can have a look on the parts sheet.

REG: NK70RCO built in 2019 registered 2020. 

The camera now fitted only shows the view behind the car and no lines at all.

Unfortunately your 2020 Kuga Plugin is not listed.

Similar models are listed with one of five different cameras fitted.

No way that I can see to identify which was originally fitted. 🙁

Thanks very much for the update.  The original camera was part of one of the options available when we placed the order. 

An update to my post about the rear-view camera on my Kuga Phev, and the problem has now been resolved.  Bought a second-hand camera and was told by the seller (a car dismantler) that it was the correct one for my car.  Fitted it this morning no problem at all other that the struggle to get the trim back in place by myself, obviously a two person job.  Never the less managed and now back to the normal rear view with the lens wash and all the guidance lines as was normal.
