Hi all

just purchased a 2016 ecoboost fiesta Zetex S, car drives great with plenty of power for engine size then all of a sudden goes into ”limp mode” and struggles for power, full history with recent wet belt replacement. No engine management lights no codes as of yet, has anyone seen this issue before, could it be wastegate linkage??

    Use FORcan and check for Ford specific DTC's. If the vehicle is in limp mode "it" must know why.

    Great, thanks for the advice. The other thing to mention is after every restart the car comes out of limp mode?

    That's quite normal for a fault that has not turned on the EML.

    You will need to read the DTC's using FORScan while the car is still in limp mode.

    Error code P132B-21 also, wastegate shaft “bouncing” while on tickover. Does this mean new turbo?? 🤦🏼‍♂️
