External temperature sensor

Featured Replies

Hello everyone,

I have a pollution issue with my vehicle Kuga MK2 2014 motor 2.0 Duratec.

When analysing it with the Forscan programme, I noticed that the value read by the system is incorrect (-26°!).
However, the value shown on the dashboard display is correct and fluctuates normally.
Could you confirm that the external temperature is being read correctly by the sensor located under the bumper?
Why is the value shown on the display correct?
I couldn't find a second sensor in the workshop manual.
Thank you for your response.

OK

I found it on my vehicle and it is located on the left side of the radiator grille.

However, this sensor is not the one I am looking for (OUTTPM signal).

Thank you for your reply.
