So drove away from the garage and the eml came back on the same day and was spluttering and misfiring like never before!! Just wondered what else there Is I can do to get this fault sorted! Gunna try getting it back to the garage tomorrow to get the lambda sensor changed. Any help would be appreciated thanks

stef123
before you throw any money on parts guessing the problem have a live diagnostic scan done. this will let the mechanic see what sensors are reading etc. were the plugs changed along with the coil pack and leads? Emmastreetka
Yeh all changed and been on diagnostics again today which showed a fault with the lambda sensor! So had this changed by the mechanic and ran like a dream for about a mile then started to misfire again! To be fair it is now only slight and only does it in second or third gear when not fully accelerating ! Starting to think this was a Friday car when it was made :-( thanks again guys
zoes22
Definately a Friday car and not worth keeping for years like I have mine - I loved it when I got it, but they all have the same issues, I had the coil pack replaced last year (or maybe the year before?) Hope the issues get sorted for you
