Unless you're going to take it back (!) you need to update the car details in your profile - it would be helpful to show if you have a 150 or 182ps Ecoboost and whether manual or auto.

19mpg sounds very poor. However without knowing how you've calculated it, over what mileage and what type of driving you've been doing it's difficult to comment.

You've moved from (I assume) a 100ps normally aspirated car to a turbo with 50% (or more) extra power, so there will be an element of getting used to it.

Brim to brim is IMHO the most reliable way (but even that can be difficult due to variation in tank level which you can't always get the same) as I believe our car MPG is incorrect and always more optimistic!
Trends over time are better than one off results?
Still a lot of variation depending on many factors but especially driving style (euphemism for heavy right foot!), weather, hills etc etc.

We once had 16.5 MPG from Santander to Madrid, which is uphill, with a headwind and towing a 1.5 tonne caravan compared to 55 when featherfooting at no more than 50 MPH with an overall average of 34.5 including everything (2000 miles per year out of 8000 towing)
Everyone I ask gets "Over 50 MPG round the town" of course, Ha Ha!
